I just went back to stock for now, but the image above is the one I used except in bmp form, it was quite easy but I will have to find a solution for the white screen before I try again

I would say double check the file size again. One of two things is happening:
1) the image might be 1 pixel short and that pixel defaults to white or
2) you are missing a pixel somewhere in the image

Looking at my Army camo one below, when I run that, it colors the background olive green. The top left corner is the grey color but the bottom left and top right are the green that the background uses. I would start by looking in those 2 locations.

I think we can rule out the "most often used color" since we know you don't have but a little bit of white.

EDIT: I just downloaded and checked the image you posted and it is the right size. If that is the one you used before mirroring it, everything looks good.

Only other thing I can say to look at is when you cut, copy, paste, delete make sure the byte number shows what it should in the bottom right corner of Fhred.

If need be, I'll play with it tomorrow. I just won't be able to test it yet because I just got my phone back up from having market install issues the past week and don't want to go back through a hard factory reset the day after I fix it.

Fish I appreciate you looking into it, that is the exact image I used and all the bytes were in sync with the numbers in the walk through, it was my first try though and something is always liable to go wrong on the first shot, I will probably try again this weekend...it was pretty easy to get right back to where I was before that it's no problem

Edit: Oh, forgot to mention. I do heraldic art as a sideline so I have some resources for finding definitions of old arms, crests & mottos. Cheers! I use CorelDraw X5 for this work.

Thanks allot! I done a little editing (hope you don't mind) and made it my avatar and maybe a boot logo later. I went to an interview today and the guy had a Droid too so I just had to show mine off :P, He really liked it and I think it got me the job.
