I'm about ready to throw in the towel and ask some one to make mine for me too. time is not my friend when playing with my daughter and trying to make this at the same time lol

Gonna try this one in a bit. Just gotta make sure I have all my stuff backed up and all the other stuff to go from 2.0.1 to 2.2.
I used Fireworks to make the image file and it turns out the same as if it is made in Paint (verified by looking at identical one made in Paint). So only had to do the first 54 bytes in that file too.

I deleted the first 54 bytes and then tried ctrl + a to select all then crtl + alt + r (I believe that is the combo for reversing bytes) and it just sits there at that screen even if I press okay, nothing happens. Running 64-bit Windoze Se7en

I had the same problem with it just sitting there. How long is it supposed to take to complete?

ok just going to throw my 2 cents out here. About the background color... I don't think any editing of the pic is going to change that as the background of that whole screen has nothing to do with the image you make. Seems to me like somewhere in the sbf file, it is telling it to look at the 24bit image and find it's background color and "copy" it. I would think in order to actually change the background color you weould need to find this bit of code and change it.

Again, just an idea. I have no idea what I am talking about and can't even make a photo myself. Just trying to logically think the background thing through.

From 20 minutes of looking, best I could tell ya was to use sbf recalc to split the file into smg files, then I don't know cause all i jave found is something about making icons into raw files then saving them as smg and then doing something else and saving them as shx files and then I was so lost nothing made sense so I quit reading.
