Has anyone had PdaNet for over 30 days?

I was wondering if anyone has used PdaNet for over 30 days and if so, what sites are you still able to access? Noticeable speed difference after 30 days? I know it says only http sites, but that is still the majority of the internet, right? Am I missing something? Why pay when you can still surf http sites?

There is a lot more to the internet than HTTP. HTTPS, Email, Remote Desktop or VNC, VPN, etc....

If you just want to surf, probably no issue with the free version. If you need to tether to run business applications, $29 is a small price to pay.

I have used it for past 30 days on my other phone and it was fine for normal browsing.

The problem I had with it is every minute or two it would pop up a notification in the task bar telling me the thing was about to expire. That was very annoying and 29 dollars took care of it. I also need to have https connections so it was a no brainer.

Proxoid is another way to tether, you might want to look into that.

I'm using the free version with a consistent 2.4mb/s and have been very happy with it.
