Currently using Cyangenmod RCI-6 with "Black Glass" theme. Just came from Kangerade, and for my first itme using it, I have to say its fast. Before Kangerade, I always stuck to UD roms, but Jrummy's and Cyangenmods are fast and stable as well. UD was too plain for me. For Cyangenmod 6, I'm using its stock kernel and its running fairly fast...haven't bothered flashing Chevy's kernel yet.
I recommend using Chevy's 1.2 or 1.25 low voltage kernels. They work awesome-ly and have great battery life.

I'm sorry, but how many of these pointless "best" rom threads do we have to suffer through? Every time, the comments are the same. They're all good, in different ways, on different Droids. TRY THEM YOURSELF. THIS IS A MODDING/DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY. If you don't know what you're doing, go educate yourself, there are a PLETHORA of guides explaining just about every facet of Rooting, installing custom ROMs, overclocking, installing Themes, Theming for yourself, etc, etc, etc. There is just no point in these questions. It's like asking someone what the best car is, or who the best *insert sport* team is. There simply is no answer, so form your own opinions. I've tried just about every ROM I've come across since March (except UD, don't ask why, if you don't know, ask a mod why he was banned), the only one that has given me any problems was ZeusDroid's Desire, and I feel bad saying that, because it was listed as an Alpha, though few treated it as such. So go out, try a couple, settle on one for a while, and just keep tinkering.

Amen. But everyone starts somewhere. It would be nice if people would use the search function.

BB.4 is by far the best, fastest, most stable froyo rom out right now.

Do any of the current ROMs have a working Bluetooth stack that corrects the issues with nissan/infiniti's? (2007 G35 specifically)

How in the hell do you back that up? Do you have any empirical tests? I already know the answer. No. Comment's like this show your ignorance, please, there is no "best", "fastest" or "most stable" ROM, period.

Do I really have to write "imo" after everything. Obviously Captain sensitive. Also bb IS the best right now and I'm not the only one sayin it.

True, but I for one, have not had great experiences with BB since the move to Froyo. Thus, I entirely disagree with you. I have been running CyanogenMod Nightlies for about a week and a half, diligently updating with each new release, and I have found them to be incredibly stable (I have yet to find a FC), kick the crap out of anything else in terms of features (you really need to try it an delve through all the settings to see what I mean; tell me another ROM that lets you increase the Dalvik VM Heap size), and stupid-fast. (I am getting a solid 18MFLOPS on Linpack, 1650ish on Quadrant, and no heat or battery issues whatsoever, with jdlfg's 1150 LV kernel)

these threads are pointless. why isn't there a sticky that discloses this:

at this point, all roms are work and do what they are meant to do. each one is different to a degree. ALSO, not every rom will perform the same on every single phone. load them all and figure it out for yourself. read the change logs and figure out how each rom is tweaked.

Yeah that's fast but not everyone flashes new roms every night. Not tthat there's anything wrong with it. Sounds like your heavy into it but I been running bb4 for almost 3 weeks with a chevy kernal at 900. Its very smooth also no fc issues and quasrant is around 1300 consistenly with long bench in set cpu at low 500s to high 400s. To each his own though, just trying to give good advice.
