Keeping ROM files

    do I need to keep each update.zip file when I'm switching between ROMs?

    Depends on if you want to or not. I always keep a copy in a folder on my sd.

    so can you name them something other than update.zip and still install them? or how does reinstalling them work?

    Just rename them to something other than update.zip preferably smething that will help you keep them in order. When you want to install them again just rename it update.zip again and install
