    Droid X system dump, port apps to Droid?

    Can someone port the apks, Motoblur, etc to Droid?

    I can't get any of them to work.

    i tried BlurHome.apk, didnt work, not in /system either
    tried Blockbuster.apk, didnt work, not in /system EITHER

    installing Dock.apk worked, but it FCs

    im running FroYo 2.2
    all these apps are designed for 2.1-update1, so sorry
    ALL of them wont work for me, someone still at 2.2 will have to try....

    returned eris: 12/28/09
    got droid: 12/31/09
    rooted droid: sometime in january (right after it was released (manually))
    bb->2.1 sbf->desire rom> 2.1bb> 2.2
    got incredible as warranty replacement 8/31/10
    shattered inc screen 9/25/10-> got insurace replacement 10/4/10
    broke inc screen 10/19/10-> got warranty replacement 10/22/10
    got moto droid 1 off ebay 1/7/11
    broke inc screen 5/26/11-> got insurance replacement inc2 5/27/11
    sold inc2 & bought vzw 16gb iphone 4 6/9/11

    you dont need to "port" anything, open the zip
    go to /system/app
    and load some .apks onto your phone and see if theyll work

    Car dock works, Live wallpapers not yet, ringtones of course work, regular wallpapers, Multi-touch keyboard works after being modified. FM radio is being worked on. Hopefully Motoblur gets modded.

    Well other that pulling some .apk's the early response from the dev/hacker community is that the Droid X will not be getting root. Motorola has signed the bootloader. No custom ROMs no nothing. So unless Moto screws up or something leaks what you see is what you get on the Droid X. With that said, if true and no root happens on the Droid X, Droid 2 and possibly even the Droid Pro then Motorola will be losing a customer as I will be going to HTC and whatever carrier has the device I want. Truly is a shame.

    LG G2X w/ rooted 2.3.3 leak.

    It's OK for your Droid to be different. Just be supportive and reassuring and it will do just fine. It's when you or other people point at it or mock it for being different is when its' feelings get hurt. Just show it unconditional love regardless of its' differences and it will in turn reciprocate that love and loyalty.

    I also saw a thread on XDA that someone tried the music player and settings, it has an EQ !
