Problems reverting to 2.0.1 on Moto Droid

I have a Moto Droid that was rooted by a friend, but I had to warranty exchange it (I had a tech at Verizon revert it back to stock on their computers), but now I am trying to root my new one myself. I have the RSD Lite (version 4.0.1), I have downloaded the .sbf file from two different sources, and I have rebooted by phone into the boot loader screen like everyone has told me to, but whenever I connect my phone to my computer, MotoConect (the Moto driver program) says there is not application available. When I run RSD, it shows my device is connected, but says that it cannot determine platform. When I try to run the .sbf file it tells me "Flashing process failed, Unable to retrieve initialization values from INI file. (0x7029); phone connected". Im not sure what I am doing wrong, any help would be super!!!

Not sure what the problem is, but I thought I would tell you, you don't have to revert to 2.0.1, just get the sprecovery sbf.
