if anyone is having trouble rooting

i was having trouble rooting my 2 day old droid and i found that if you switch out the stock memory card it works. i took out the 16gig put in a 2gig put the update zip on it and it worked like a charm

The size of the card would have no bearing on being able to root the droid. If your stock card was corrupt somehow that is a different story.

i know but for anyone who has the problem like me they might have a bad card as well

What exactly were you having trouble with? What step did you get stuck at??? Just curious as there may have been another reason other than the sd card that could help others.
