    Rooting HELP

    I am currently rooting ym droid and I am stuck!!!!!

    I got this far but i keep getting a message saying installation aborted.

    heres the step im on


    Select Install /sdcard/update.zip (deprecated) and wait for it to complete without errors.

    I keep getting a message saying cant open /sdcard/update.zip (no such file or directory. installation aborted

    make sure the file is not .zip.zip (you don't add the zip, windows does that automatically)

    I renamed to file to just update, i didnt add another zip to it

    I'm having the same issue. I tried probably 8x last night with the same outcome. Mine ends in zip so I know that's not the problem. Hopefully someone has a solution for us.

    That is a good guide, but you no longer need RSD lite, or have to go through all that. You don't even need a PC or a mac to root, lol. PM me and I will give you "the easy way method"
