This is a discussion on who wants apps to sd the froyo way ;) within the Droid Hacks forums, part of the Droid Hacking category; Originally Posted by coondogg97

"The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?"
That seemed to do it. Just the pm needs to be lower case.
Thanks
EDIT: As the first post stated this will not work with widgets. I moved MotoTorch to the SD card and couldn't use it as a widget. So I moved the app back to my phone, but still couldn't find it in the widget list. So I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it. That worked and I have the widget back on my home screen.

just found out from a buddy go to terminal emulator and enter
Type this: su (enter)
Type this: pm setInstallLocation 2 (enter)
It will do nothing just exit. U can now move most apps to sd card under settings.manage apps. Move to sd card!
May be issues like widget doesn't load. So try it and discuss!
Must be running froyo, must be rooted, follow command exactly.
