Droid headphone crackle life hax

Long story short, I had the crackle... I looked into the hole and noticed green forming on the contacts. The headphone jack in the droid is always hot... Copper + Sweat + Current = Electrolysis. I removed my battery, forced a pipe cleaner into the hole and cleaned it... blew it out with my breath... and am no longer crackling... the crackle upon insertion is normal.

awesome I haven't had alot of problems but I notice it sometimes I'm gonna give this a shot! I thought it was my jack on my fm tuner being flakey
