About LinkBacksisnt wifi tether supposed to be included in froyo? it says hotsopt or usb tether, but only has usb....
will wifi tether the root app work on 2.2?

No WiFi hotspot here either... -

06-07-2010 10:05 AMThe wireless tethering feature is not enabled in this release as the source code for the new wireless driver has not been released yet. Currently, the only way that Wi-Fi can be enabled in 2.2 is by hacking the 2.6.32 kernel to support the old driver. The old driver does not have the capability to act as an access point so the hotspot feature would not work anyway. The old driver does support ad-hoc mode so the android-wifi-tether program still works.

Download the first one, give it permissions from superuser, and TADA. Works great on Froyo.
