    Installing a custom rom and rom manager

    Hey guys, so I'm gonna root my new droid again and I'm following the tutorial over at droid life. Now when they do it, they're flashing a stock custom 2.1 rom. I think I'm just going to follow this. After I do this, I know there is an app called rom manager. If I download this, can I load this app and download roms right from that app? thanks

    Yes you can.

    1. Download any SBF that roots your system and flash with RSDlite
    2. Download ROM manager

    OR
    1. Download the SPRecovery SBF
    2. Put a ROM on the phone (via usb to /sdcard)
    3. Boot that ROM and be rooted
    4. Use ROM manager if you like
