Now you get to choose a ROM, a kernel (if needed) and then if you want a theme that works with whatever ROM you choose. The one app you will want to download is SetCPU. Once you install a kernel and overclock you will want to set preferences for your CPU to help with battery life and heat. There is a thread on here that discusses everyone's cpu settings, I would suggest you read that.

One thing that was said to me when I first rooted. ALWAYS REMEMBER........ and check........... ALWAYS & ALLOW. On most things you will not use that window again. Some of the apps and when you install a ROM will ask you if you want to allow superuser permissions.....ALWAYS & ALLOW.
