Its in the /system/app/ folder in root explorer

k i tried that and it keeps telling me it cannot be placed there because the file system is read only????????? how do I fix this???

In the top right of the program you'll see a "Mount R/W" hit that then do it, then before you close out hit it again to put it back to "Mount R/O"

thanx for trying to help me man, I just did that also and its in that folder but it wont come up in my live wallpapers and when I try installing it from that folder it keeps saying install unsuccessful??????

I don't get what you're trying to do.... If your trying to load a new livewallpaper, you need to take the new one put it in your sdcard then use root explorer to move it to the /system/app/ and overwrite the old one.

I downloaded a live wallpaper from this site. it was a .apk folder, so I put it on my sd card. I am running bugless beastv1.0 (don't know if that matters) and i did what you said I put it into the system/apps folder with all the other stuff in there. Now its not in my live wallpapers and with it in there how do i get it to work on my phone?

Can you message me as well on how to do this. I moved it to system/apps, hit the mount r/w so it became r/o, replaced with my livewallpapers.apk, went to permissions and under User checked the read and write columns so it looks live this x x 0 Then i hit the mount r/o so it became r/w, backed out and
x x x
x 0 x
rebooted my phone.


I went into the lwp section where you pick a wallpaper and I tried the nexus live wp and it won't let me select it, it keeps force closing. Any suggestions?

Btw i'm running the team chaos rom with dark edge installed and i just installed adw. I tried it in launcher and it wouldn't show up there either.
