    Arrow Moto Droid and HTC mms

    Is there any way to port the HTC mms app and widget over to the moto Droid?

    Nope. HTC's custom apps all require their Sense framework and have never been successfully ported.

    A very similar messaging widget, however, is Pure Messanger widget. It doesn't have the swipe scrolling though, that isn't built into stock Android.
