    And then there was root

    Over at this website a man by the name of reager has gotten root access to his droid. I am sure it will only be a matter of time before we see more features available.

    i havent actually tried booting it yet just got it on...also the card now shows up as blank/unsupported filesystem
    but the origional partition and new one are still there when mounting again
    Seeing as he hasn't even tried it, hard to say he's actually ROOTED anything. He is merely saying he might have a way of doing it.

    His thinking process was only good as far as getting root access to the file system, not the operating system. I'm not even sure about that since the Droid doesn't let you mount the phone's flash, only the SD.

    iv tried every root update there it but when i install it it still isnt rooted?anyone got any sugestions
