    nandroid restore question

I want to go back to plain jane stock root. Here's what I've done in this order: wipe and flash 2.0.1, stock 2.1 OTA, flash sprecovery, adb root/busybox, install apps, nandroid and mybackup (data+apps), MM'd a few custom themes and some custom icons among some other aesthetical and widget related stuff...

    Here are my 2 options:

1: wipe, then nandroid restore / mybackup restore

2: wipe, then start over the steps laid out above, completely from scratch, stopping after the nandroid/mybackup

My question: does 1 = 2, or is 2 cleaner?

If you apply a rom or theme - backup first!
If you don't know how to backup...Stop until you do.
hint: I name my backups like this: sg6.0_20100428 or ss4.2_20100626 to easily find them later. rom and date.
