HELP me UNROOT please!!!

I recently got my Droid in March. I got it rooted using this tutorial on Youtube: .

I have the current applications on my phone:
*DroidRootHelper
*Superuser
*Terminal Emulator

Quick note, when I try to tap on Superuser, a blank screen pops up. I can't do anything after selecting it on my apps menu.

I have not been able update my phone to 2.1. I keep getting an aborted message during the installation process. I used the same tutorial to unroot from DroidReview on Youtube.

Any suggestions???

I was messing with it and, honestly, I am not sure I know what I am doing. I want to return it back to stock. I am also thinking of getting the Incredible and I will most likely sell my MotoDroid. I want to be able to return the phone to stock in that scenario.

Can you help me?

As I try to install the unroot file on my phone, the installation process will not complete, it says:

E:Can't open /sdcard/update.zip
(No such file or directory)
Installation aborted.

It said the same thing when I am trying to update to 2.1.

Thanks for the link. I used the last option, the alternative.

I got the file downloaded, copied to the root of my sdcard, changed the name to "update.zip", installed it and that is where it aborts and nothing happens. I can't install the update.

Bro, read the directions. You aren't supposed to do that.

dude puse dm updater. Itll proly give 2.01 but you can update from there. good luck to you. not sure why you want to unroot tho

It is possible you don't see file extensions on your computer. So you rename it to update.zip.zip and it cant find update.zip

A Google search will show how to "display file extensions in windows"

Also remember to:

allow update.zip

yea if your running windows 7 or vista it wont show the .zip on the file name already. so you just have to name the file "update". no quotes. if you right click the file then click properties and go to details the name should be update.zip, not update.zip.zip
