Wireless Tether and PS3

I was trying to use my droid for my internet connection. on my ps3 but the system will not recognize it. I start wireless tether on the phone and then scan for access points on the ps3 and it will not show up. Does this have to be done another way??

easy answer. you can't

hard answer. hook it up to your computer, share the connection to the ps3 using an ethernet cable. you have to wirelessly tether the computer though, because you can't share pdanet's connection
