Anyone want Smoked Glass with a colored "Google" logo in the search widget?

I did a little modifying (with help from Pete) and made a version of Smoked Glass that has the colored "Google" logo in the search widget. This version looks better IMO and I thought I'd share it if anyone is interested...

lol whoops, i meant to attach it to the original message. i just tried though and it refuses to work... anyone know i can upload this thing? i tried splitting it into smaller parts and it still wouldn't work.

yup, that's what i'm using right now. i love pete's roms! bugless beast v1 is waaay faster and smoother than ultimate droid. i only wish it had the new launcher...

there's a small white outline because the png i used wasn't perfect, but it'll be so tiny on the droid's screen that you won't even notice it. also, the logo will be in a white box so that'll make it even harder to see.

i just uploaded it to mediafire. it's an update.zip, so just apply it as usual and let me know how it works out.

I have a stupid question, I dl the file and placed in the sd card directory and tried applying update.zip from ClockworkMod Recovery. I reboot and go to place the widget but the original is still there. Do I need to delete the original search widget before applying the update?

that's the way i did it and it worked just fine. which rom are you running?

CyanogenMod 5.0.6.2. I also noticed the same thing happened when I tried to download the smoked glass pandora widget as well. I had to delete Pandora first before installing the new widget. Maybe its a rom thing or the way I install, don't know.
