    Will pay for Wifi Tethering

    New to site, but want Wifi Tethering...not gonna try it myself, afraid that I will do more harm than good. Is there anyone on here in DE that is willing to do it for me for a cpl bucks? Send me a message if so, and Thanks.

    just do a search on thin site for instructions read them all the way through a couple times and i think kellex did a video on this check out droid-life.com

    Rooting isn't hard to do, but isn't necessary to get tethering on your phone. EasyTether Lite - Android app on AppBrain or PdaNet free edition - Android app on AppBrain should be able to get you going. There are free versions, and paid versions that have more features.

    I believe it is impossible to wifi tether without root. Wired tether is possible without root just by using pdanet or easytether from market.

    You can tether with out being rooted (not wifi). Pdanet and easytether are to apps to tether. I would not root just to tether. I am rooted and have wifi tethering app and use pdanet 99% of the time.
    I believe Aminaked meant to say that you can tether, not wifi tether, with out rooting.

    I never see wired-tethering as being useful.. I usually only use tether for a last chance kinda thing, I dont walk around with a USB cable all day. It is nice to charge and tether on a long car ride though.
