Meebo and FBabble are the two I know of.
FBabble v0.9.5 Application for Android | Social
Meebo IM v21 Application for Android | Communication
I'm using ebuddy for all my mobile IM'ing, I like it works pretty well.
Instant Messaging on your phone |eBuddy Mobile
Do all of these allow you to chat with facebook?
If you access the full site you can chat easily, I've done it many times. It's a little tough to navigate over to the chat window, but if you pop-out chat it's not a problem.
ebuddy, in addition to Facebook, also does gtalk, aim, yahoo, msn, icq, & myspace. It's a mobile app too. Check out the site.
Meebo is the most stable, however if we ever get the Nimbuzz app updated with a stable release, it will be much better.
Nimbuzz is the only one I've seen that allows you to take a picture of yourself and send it to contacts, as well as other files such as music. It also has a "Buzz" feature to let people auto start Nimbuzz on your phone if you don't have it open. Good if your out somewhere and forget to turn Nimbuzz on, but someone needs to chat with you. That feature is optional for those who don't like the idea of letting someone auto start the app remotely on your phone.
As of writing this, Nimbuzz does not work correctly with MSN contacts (they never show up as online). But due to the added multimedia/attachment features, I suggest this over the others once its fully stable with everything working correctly.
for nimbuzz..my online msn contacts seem to be showing up fine. the problem i have with nimbuzz is how it keeps disconnecting...im guessing thats what you mean by it being unstable..
I use palringo for my I'M clients. It also supports facebook chat and works well.
hey i use meebo and ebuddy...but i have no idea how to connect to my myspace IM...does anyone know how to do that
