Trouble with Cyanogen: setting wallpaper

Running the latest version. When I set a static wall paper from the gallery...I either get a boot loop OR I get a 'droid on a skate board' wallpaper. Anyone else have this issue. I can set live wallpapers just fine.

I'm able to use photos from my Gallery. Hope you get this corrected.

I had EXACTLY this same issue with DarkChaos! So did a few other folks as well. We never did resolve it. TeamChaos released Redrum V1.1 and I went to that without any problems.

Sorry that doesn't help much I guess, at least you know it may not be unique to just your setup or hardware.

BTW did you come from UD10? I had installed that as my previous rom. No idea if that could even be related, I did several data/cache wipes and re-installs of DarkChaos and still had the trouble.

Is dark chaos a theme? I am running a clean black that that I download from rom manager. perhaps that is what is causing the issue

Mine did the same thing with the clean black theme. Every other one works fine.

Dark Chaos was actually a full rom. It was an alternate version of RedrumChaos released at the same time as RedrumChaos1.0.

Mine did the same thing with the clean black theme. Every other one works fine.

Me three (or four or whatever). It's fine as long as you use gallery wallpaper or LWPs, but as soon as you pull one of the stock Launcher2 wallpapers you're stuck. I haven't figured out a way to fix it without going back to stock CM and then reapplying the theme.

I finally parted ways with clean black...easily my favorite theme ever. Anything out there that is similar? Right now I am using NexTheme...kinda boring
