    easiest root and custom recovery prosess

    first download the latest version of universal androot then install open and hit the root me button next download rom manager then flash sprecovery or clockwork and BAM!! now you can install any custom rom, theme or kernel. if there is an easier way let me know and by the way this works on frg01b official release because that was the build i was on when i rooted. I have two favorite roms i use lithium mod for the awesome selection of themes and fonts and sapphire 1.0.0 for well its just the best one because its the fastest and most stable rom ive used it also comes with the best kernel to use with it too.

    Help, Can someone tell me how to get my backed up (sdcard) apps on to my fresh new installation of 2.2. I used Titanium to backup both data and apps. I have been provided with a new droid x with 2.2 and my old sdcard installed..Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanx in advance....dick (tilly01)

    You'd have to root your X and install Ti Backup. Also, this is about the Droid 1, so you'd be better off posting questions in the Droid X section.
