Overclocking/CPU
How/which is the best way to overclock, and what is a good simple CPU setting program?

You need to flash a kernel that allows overclocking (try one of Chevy or AdamZ's kernels), then download setcpu from the market.

I do. I have Chevy LV 1.25 Ghz. I'm running UD 9.8 (going to v10 as soon as I am off work)

In that case SetCPU is the only app that can change your CPU clock speeds (AFAIK). It's pretty much required for overclocking/underclocking lol

I heard something about getting my phone to hot? Is there something I can use to monitor it or help it?

Yup, Temp Monitor (also on the market) can display battery temp/CPU temps in your notification bar. It's handy for trying out new kernels. I usually disable it though once I find that the kernel is good and runs at acceptable ranges.

And what's a good range? (sorry for so many questions, I don't want to burn up my phone)

Mine at 1.0 doesn't get past 40c with the bodyglove on. Using the chevy LV 1.0ghz.

NP lol, I try to make sure it doesn't go over 65 deg C. After that my phone usually starts acting funny lol
