    2.0.1 stock to 2.1 with root

    I just read this post from Speeddymon over on alldroid.org. It tells how to update from non-rooted 2.0.1 straight to 2.1 rooted. Has anyone tried this yet?

    seems like too much work... all this can be accomplised in 2 easy steps

    1.) Root 2.0.1
    2.) Install rooted 2.1 via Rom Manager application found in market

    Ta-Da... rooted 2.1

    +1 to the guy above me, its far easier to just root using DMupdater and then install a 2.1 rom
