Hey Titans, I'm right here with ya buddy! I'm usually all about getting the latest and greatest...But in this situation...I'm staying rooted, it will come our way soon, Im on CM5.0.5.3NEX'd..and all is well...I'm excited for the non-rooters though...I'm searching the forums and I swear I saw a tumbleweed blow by with some dust and a little bit of wind...everyone is reading that 2.1 thread...time to spam the forum....IS NOW!

Nah. Some folks hold it over others like they have mystical powers or such. It just takes time and a lot of patience.

I haven't rooted yet but that's only due to my lack of confidence. As soon as I can find someone to do it that knows what they are doing I'll be on that bandwagon.

With all the talk about the update and reading what It includes I really don't know why someone that is rooted would go backwards. For one, oc'ing is a big reason but when all the different and unique roms are out there why would you want to go back to "par"?
Just wait for someone to get their hands on a true update and wait for the outcome

it is so easy with droidmod. just do it, you'll love it. i was scared when i did it, but with all the tutorials and videos, there was no problem at all.

I decided to unroot, but only for the increased chance of scoring an update.zip for folks.
