Can I now go to 2.1 from 2.0.1

    Hi Guys....

I rooted my phone.......I did a complete backup and installed SPrecovery 0.99.3.img

I have 2.0.1 now....do I have to do anything more? Or is my droid now ready fo me to install a 2.1 rom??

Can I just go now and get the latest rom and put it in my nandroid folder and install it on my droid?

Does the new rom "overwrite" the 2.0.1 rom??

If I can just load a rom....I will and I will also overclock...

Sorry if I posted in the wrong section

    thanks for your help!

I HIGHLY recommend AdamZ's smoked glass 6.0 ESE53 ROM. It's friggin' been awesome.

try all of em, just learn how to use adb for your own sake...

they're all right here...pick a certain developer and try their rom.

yes you can. ill list the steps for you

    Nandroid Backup Installation Instructions:
-Update & backup any files you wish to restore, this will wipe /data
-Extract the files from the archive using WinRAR or a similar program
-Place the extracted folder (the ROM) into the "nandroid" folder on your sdcard
-Reboot into recovery mode (hold the power and "x" button at the same time)
-Wipe data/factory reset (do this twice!)
-Wipe cache partition (do this twice!)
    -Backup/Restore
    -Advanced Nandroid Restore
    -Choose backup (select the ROM)
    -Perform Restore
    -Enjoy!
