Droid Motorola dock hack... kinda...

So I found call volume somewhat lacking while freeway driving and decided to blame the car dock for at least a portion of that because it conveniently muffles the sound by blocking the rear speaker. Dremel to the rescue

Now it's noticeably better!

I was wondering it it was blocking the speaker myself. But while driving I never checked, and when not driving I never remembered to look lol.

Nice work. Yeah I bet Motorola redesigns that in the near future. I was looking at getting the car dock but after looking at the Multimedia dock I am thinking about just slapping some Velcro on the bottom of that and placing it on my dash. Has anyone tried this?
