    Help getting back to stock?

I orginally rooted and installed Bugless beast with this post:
[How To] Easily install Bugless Beast using only SPRecovery, Terminal Emulator, & zip

I then "upgraded" to Blackdroid 7.8 via the nandroid restore.
I am trying to get back to stock and not having any luck. using this thread:
[How-To] Back to Stock, no su, no BusyBox, etc.

I've tried both ways. The nandroid exits with error 25 and the update.zip exists with error status 7.

    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks in advance!

Here is a link ([How-To] Back to Stock, no su, no BusyBox, etc.) that Matt included in the process you used to install BB.

    Hope it helps.

I'm not positive about the error codes but make sure the Nandroid file name does not have any spaces. For the update.zip make sure there are not two update.zip files on your sd card and make sure that the one you are using only has one .zip extensions.

It appears you have too many subfolders. You also can try link 3 in my thread too. That might be the easiest. 8 steps. Really only 7. Post back, let us know which worked for you.

If you apply a rom or theme - backup first!
If you don't know how to backup...Stop until you do.
hint: I name my backups like this: sg6.0_20100428 or ss4.2_20100626 to easily find them later. rom and date.

You can also do an SBF recovery as a last resort. Try what mwhartman suggested first though, SBF is the nuclear option.

I think that's where the op got stuck. They both have the same link listed. The subfolder issue is what nandroid error 25 is....he's got extra folders in the way.

SBF is easy though, that's why I added it to my sig.

I was able to get it back with the nandroid restore process. update.zip just didn't want to cooperate. I think the problem was I had to many folders in /sdcard/nandroid. I had ultimatedroid 7.5 and 7.8 in there. After I deleted them, so only virgin-oem was there it worked.

    Thanks guys!
