    wifi tether not working with cyanogen 5.0.4.2

    the phone says it's on, but my computer isn't finding it like it did with all of my other roms..i don't have it encrypted or anything, so is anyone else having this problem? maybe i have an outdated version??

    which version are you using?

    I'm using wireless tether 2.0 pre3 for eclair with no problems

    I have been using pre5 since it came out and it always works. This morning I tried pre8 and it worked, but was not nearly as fast a pre5. I could never get pre6 to work with any rom.

    Just a data point.
