    So is ESE53 2.1

Really that much faster than 2.01 ROMS?

I have been running BB v1.1(2.01) and I'm thinking about going to BB V0.7(ESE53)

    • Is the browser faster? Overall system?
    • Can I go back to BB v1.1 through nandroid if I don't like V0.7? Or once I'm 2.1 do I have to stay there?

It is faster overall and the browser.
If you have the nandroid backup you can return to it and 2.0.1

I love the ESE53 much better, I came from DroidMod and it is all around much faster. You should be able to Nandroid Restore no problem.

When you do a Nandroid restore does that install the new Kernel with it too? Or is that a separate install?

Everything in your backup will return in the restore, including the kernel.

Edit: everything you put into your backup will restore. So if you only backup say, data, that's the only thing that will restore.

    Make sense?

The kernel is in the boot portion of the nandroid backup. So if you want to backup or restore just a kernel, you only need to do boot.

Just installed v0.7 and I don't see a wifi tether application anymore. Did he remove it in these 2.1 ROMs?

Lol, it's not on the market. Just re-install it from the APK (which you should hopefully have kept). If you don't have that anymore, I'm sure you can find a new one on the forums somewhere. Also, the 2.1 ROM is much snappier and my battery life has been hugely improved. Plus, interactive live wallpapers are just plain awesome.
