Alright, so I'm running BB .5 (2.1) with a 1.2GHZ Kernal. And after overclockinig, my battery life seems a good deal worse. What could I do?/Anyone else notice this?
So, these are my settings:
Default 250/800 (Conservative)
Charging 250/550 (Conservative)
Sleep/Standby 250/250 (Conservative)
Power <20% 250/550 (Conservative)
Of course it got worse. You're phone is running more than twice as fast. Thats gonna use a lot more battery. Put it down to the original 550, and your battery will be back to normal.
buy a sedio extended battery.. I get ~30 hours at 800 Mhz.. I'm sure even at 1.25 you should get decent usage
mine was running out within 3hrs on standby! if thats your case did you make sure you selected auto on setcpu? also try dl'ing a different kernalQuote:
