    Wifi tethering

    I just finished following the guide here [How To] Easily install Bugless Beast using only SPRecovery, Terminal Emulator, & zip

    and when it gets to wifi tethering, it gives a link to a google site with 3 links. All 3 of those links appears to be invalid. It keeps saying the files aren't on the server.

    I've tried right click > save as, but it saves as a 1.4KB instead of 300K+ like its supposed to. Doesnt install either, I'm guessing its the link?

    Somebody else just had this same problem, but the downloads are working perfectly fine. I don't get it.

    Cool CM Tricks
    custom_backup_list.txt - make a list of files in /system that will survive a nightly install (ringtones, notifications, system apps, wallpapers, whatever)
    in Terminal Emulator, set this as your shell command: "/system/xbin/su -c /system/xbin/bash". You get all the features of bash, root access, and you can still use the initial command field for whatever you want (default is adding /data/local/bin to your path)

    It's like there's a Google Netsplit or something...

    I just upped a copy here for you if you really can't wait. Sorry for all the ads/spyware/whatever on the random free upload site:

    2shared - download wireless_tether_2_0-pre7.apk

    Ugh those files do exist I dont know what is up with google. If you really want it download dmupdater from droidmod.org and install it and install thier rom and select wifi tether to install.

    Ah, now when I install and run it, it says "No netfilter! Sorry but your kernal does not have all necessary features for running this application."

    I'm not sure what went wrong. I followed that guide step by step, but my firmware still shows 2.0.1 and Bugless Beast 1.1

    Downloads - android-wifi-tether - Project Hosting on Google Code

    Doesn't show any of the other pre apks. Edit: I'm dumb. You have to change the selection from "current downloads" to "all downloads"

    I haven't tried anything above pre 3, but it works for me. I attached the pre3 apk in this post, but you have to remove the ".zip" extension at the end after you download it from here.
