FM radio apk from motorola

im going to keep a running list of all the apks that are known to work and the ones that dont from the Motorola Motori system.tar file.. please post here and i'll keep updated..

APKS that didn't forceclose and ran fine, the font is green for them.

World Clock Widget apk defiantly works.. lol its what started it all..


Bizcardreader.apk works

filemananger.apk works, just a small file viewer like astro, only browses SD card though

youku.apk works but its korean.. so basically useless..

Camera apk has 2 apps, Camcorder and Camera
Camcorder works and its not AMAZING, but it sure is better than the default
Camera just FCs

Firewall.apk works as far as i can tell, please post if you have issues.

d, you can blacklist and whitelist SMSs and Phone calls, so that they cant call you or text you anymore

noteswidget.apk that it works on the droid fine. It creates a stand alone 2x2 widget where you create a sticky note when you create the widget. You can edit it later if you want.

slideshowwidget.apk - works on droid. it creates 2x2 widgets that do a slideshow on whatever folders you point it to. You can have up to 4 of these widgets on a desktop each displaying the contents of different folders. Click a widget and you get a full screen slideshow for that folder.

Those that don't run smooth get a red font.

musicapp.apk - brand new look but lots of force closes

Audioeffect.apk loads but need to edit some other files on your droid to actually get it to fuction..

DOCK.APK it just sucks and looks retarded and its in korean..

launcher didnt install
so go through launcher/res/drawable-1680 <--wtvr and find the wallpapers, they are all called wallpaper---....

Music.apk new look but FCs

Moto.Switcher.InputMethod.apk does not work FCs

Original story..

so today i downloaded the Motorola Motoroi system.tar, and i don't know if someone has posted this already or not.. so in this system dump there is an apk that is called fm radio it is called com.motorola.fmradio it installs but force closes upon opening..

i've also discovered some other neat little apks like a very nice clock widget screen shot below..

and the audio effect apk is in here to.. haven't checkout out the boot animation yet though..

second is just a few of the apks i took away from the system dump and last is the fm radio apk install screen..

About to flash the nandroid backup for this onto my droid........

ill post on how this goes and if the fm radio apk works or not, hoping all goes well.. this could either be a diaster or a huge success.. lol

ok its rebooting now, the begining of the boot animation is nice with the motorola but the chinese part at the end is weird.. lol.. and it goes way to fast at the beginning.. im sure someone could edit this to slow it down and remove the chinese part.. i'll post the bootanimation.zip if somone wants it..

nope you can't i tried just for the h*** of it cause i'm bored, i applyed the system.tar of a nandroid backup of the motoroi and if i keep my data it gets stuck in a boot loop, wiping data lets it load up, but after it goes through the boot animation an immediate FC appears so you can't go anyfarther.. i wasn't really anticpating this to work, just something to try out cause i was bored.. lol.. i did find some nice apks though unpacking the system.tar..
