heres mine straight from the /system/apps of my droid..
just extract the apk from the zip file and i imagine you know what to do from there right.?

ok, sorry but the cookie was premature. i cant get it to install. through astro it says file not installed

ok im assuming that you unzipped the file and placed it on your sd card and its called something like

alarmclock.apk right?

if so and you can't get it installed your going to have to use adb shell to put it back on the phone i believe, i think root explorer, or android mate will do it also but im not 100% positive..

i know this sounds stupid but you HAVE TO put the apk in /system/app
THEN install from there

i never thought it would be this big of a pain. even when i try to manually put it in system/app it doesnt work. it says cannot copy. i think ill just d-load another from market lol

do you have your system/app set to r/w when you try to copy it? If you use root explorer, you can set it to r/w to copy, then change it back to r/o just by pushing a button.
