Any file manager will do the job, grab astro from the market - free.
I have astro, i chose COPY, but when i move into system/bin PASTE is grey'd out.
SAME SCENARIO WHEN I USE THE "MOVE" OPTION!
Thanks!
Are you rooted?
I am rooted- i have an icon called "SUPERUSER PERMISSIONS". That means Im successfully rooted correct?
Are you familiar with ADB shell commands?
Edit: And have wireless on your PC?
im just tired of this i tried a program called EXPLORER i pasted the stupid rom and it said paste operation failed. now im giving up- ill just do it after work.
If you use Terminal Emulator, you can move any file anyplace you want (but you will need to remount /system to be read-write before you can write to it).
The question is - why do you want to put a .rom file in /system/bin? /system/bin is for system executable files. a ROM file isn't executable. /system is VERY tight on space - are you sure you want it there? the sd card would be a better place for a file like that, or if you really have to have it on the phone and not the card, you should have more space on /data.
