Move your files around WITHOUT windows explorer

Hey I want to move my files around inside my phone, but I forgot my charger (USB) so I can't use windows explorer to do so-

Is there an app or a way to move files around?

I have a .rom on the SDCard but want to move it into system/bin.

    Thank you!

Try RootExplorer. It a paid app via the Market. Only works for rooted devices but it gets you into the OS.

I've never been able to access my OS with ASTRO. It seem to only work for files on my SD card.

I'm not familiar with Explorer. In RootExplored, if you want to change or replace something in the OS you need to tap the R/W. Typically, when you first open this app it defaults to R/O.

If you use Terminal Emulator, you can move any file anyplace you want (but you will need to remount /system to be read-write before you can write to it).

The question is - why do you want to put a .rom file in /system/bin? /system/bin is for system executable files. a ROM file isn't executable. /system is VERY tight on space - are you sure you want it there? the sd card would be a better place for a file like that, or if you really have to have it on the phone and not the card, you should have more space on /data.
