No more green robots! Diff emoticons!

If you read the title of this thread and thought, "Finally, someone has figured out a way to change the ugly green robots into better looking emoticons!" then sorry, that's not what I meant. Though I can see why you thought that.

I'm actually wondering if anyone has been able to figure out a way to change the emoticons of the Droid. With so many custom roms cooking out there, has anyone been able, or even cared, to change the robot emoticons?

I know some like em, some don't. I am the latter. So any thoughts? News? Rants?

Not really answering your question but all the emoticons are in the framework-res.apk file -- which could be easily changed if other icons were available.

Just show me or send me what you want and I will make it for you. Just be sure your rooted with busybox and have metamorph installed

Thanks buddy, will do looking at coming up with something completely custom, changing more than just images. Kinda wanna see if we get any word on our 2.1 update though before I do so I don't have to go redo everything
