I'm screwing up the SBF file somehow. When I start with RSD, I get an error saying the flash process failed. All the other SBF files I DL'ed are working. Do I need to start with a blank SBF? Where do I get one?
-Mike
you are using sbf codec right? I started with the az cardinals one and put my own image in it. I made the alldroid logo and a phoenix symbol.
what do you mean it failed? Like at the end of loading the .sbf to phone? It always said failed for me, I just click "show device" and it boots up correctly...

youre remembering to delete the first 262,080 bytes from the CG42 file in frhed correct?

Yes, I am using SBF Codec. It fails right after the first step of "Creating Image File". I get a "Failed Flashing Process" error.
Your Cardinals one works fine.
Yes, I delete the first 262,080 bytes from CGH42, then paste in that exact amount from my BMP.

I dont understand how your file would be bigger then... your's is 200,000 some bytes bigger... it should be the exact same size if you delete the exact number of bytes you add...
ETA: your CG42 file should be exactly 262,144 bytes

I can confirm this is user error, as in ME!
I just had someone else make the exact SBF I was trying to make, and it worked fine. I've been working on this for a few hours, so I probably spun myself into confusion. I'll take a break and come back later to try it.
Thank you for your help Brandon.

Hey cystic.......it would be a good idea to let everyone know who created those boot logo's you are linking to. It sort of implies they are your work.
