DM 1.0 2.1 Launcher?!??!?

I currently have the DMUpdater
and i have the new 1.0 mod(which is based off of 2.0.1)
i used metamorph to add the smoked glass theme
sooo my question is about the launcher
I keep seeing pictures of a 2.1 launcher with the dedicated buttons
I really want to add a 2.1 launcher with dedicated buttons to save a lil space

Can any of you droid gurus please give me step by step instructions on how to do this(noob instructions just to be safe)?

A fellow noob attempting to help another noob install the launcher2 in three easy steps:

Step 1) Go to the following website and download DarkEspressoLauncher2.zip: http://alldroid.org/viewtopic.php?f=310&t=1356&hilit=espresso+launcher

Step 2) Extract the launcher2.apk and place it in the root of your sdcard.

Step 3) Go into Android Terminal Emulator on your phone (download from the market if you don't have it) and type the following commands exactly:

su
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
busybox cp -R /sdcard/Launcher2.apk /system/app
mount -o ro,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
sync
reboot

No, I don't think there is a launcher2 that is stable. Greek is trying to work on it right now though.

hmm...well then if its not stable then I have no choice but to hold off a little while
But, what I really want is just a launcher with dedicated buttons like the what is on the sense UI at least til I can get a stable 2.1 launcher
I dont want to use a home replacement...don't want to keep my phone speedy
So can any of you tell me anything about that?

Like you I also loved the look of the 2.1 launcher unfortunately I got tired of the FC's and other issues it caused. Well I found Home++ and installed it. It is a VERY SWEET app with great customizations. I love the dedicated buttons at the bottom of the screen also. It is extremely stable! (no I am not associated in anyway with this program) just excited to finally find something that works well and looks great! You can download it for free from the market. I figure this will do me until 2.1 becomes reliable.
