Need to return my phone for a replacement...what do I do!

I've done the unroot from Sholes (unfortunately I didn't see the other method on here in time), but there still seem to be some traces of it on my phone.

What items should I be looking for to delete...or better yet, is there something I can run to get rid of all traces of the root I did on the phone? I doubt that the store I'm returning it to will not the things in there, but I want to make sure that I don't get a nasty letter from Motorola a few weeks later.

I still have Superuser Permissions on here, as well as a number of other things.

If you have the superuser app then you are still rooted. Just follow the steps on this forum and you should be fine. I had to take my phone in this morning after I unrooted and had no problems getting a new phone.

ok, so that didn't work as easily as I hoped. Now I can't seem to load anything from the recovery sceen. I'm just getting an error that says

    E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command

Jesus. I just decided to do a complete factory wipe/reset since I am returning the phone tomorrow anyway...and Superuser Permissions is STILL there. What the heck do I have to do to remove this thing?

I am terrified that they will not take my phone back...and I really need a new one since the call quality on this sucks.

Please help! I read somewhere that I could reroot and then remove it through terminal, but now SholesMod seems to be completely erased from the face of the planet. I am going to return this phone tomorrow and I'm desperate. Any info would be great.

Okie dokie. At any rate, sholes.mod is now "Droid Mod"

DroidMod - Everything Droid doesn't, DroidMod does.

I don't have that much experience with it, but you can find the new updater over there and try the "back to stock" again.

Ok, I found that and I was able to root again. I figured out how to delete Superuser Permissions and then went back to stock. I checked my Phone files and noticed a few things related to sholes, a root folder, and few other things that might look fishy.

What should I be looking for and deleting?
