Handcent Green Sent Button

Anyone know how to change the green Handcent send button? I would really love it to be blue to match the theme of my phone.

Not sure if this is in the right thread, by all means move it if it is not.

Download the metamorph app from the market. Apply the smoked glass (blue) theme.

copy your handcent.apk to your /sdcard and rename it handcent.zip. Move to your pc and explore and check it out. Shouldn't be too hard to find, maybe you'll find other images to change the color of too...

I have the smoked glass theme and metamorph, though I cannot find the handcent theme in it. Is it somewhere on the forums or is it named something else?

if you do what was previouse stated about ,zip and navigate to res/drawable you will see it. im not very good at editing images or i would theme it. im just changing the icon for now

In handcent you have the option to change the skin in the settings, If you chosen the skin "hero" the popup send will be green, if you chose the "iphone" skin the popup send button will be blue.

yeah,but i would like a different skin then those,im digging the droidnator theme that is red and stuff but handcent doesnt match it,i think i can transfer the majority of the png files from Mms.apk i found in the MM file over to handcent

Thank you, while I would like to still have the hero theme with the ipod send button, using the ipod theme will work for me.

Its possible but after dragging and dropping whatever icons you want into the apk/res/drawable or drawable-hdpi folder (do the drag and drop within winrar or 7 zip without on an unextracted or unzipped archive) you will probably need to resign the apk to install on phone. Google for apk signer or stericson's app signer -- both are over at xda

That honestly seems like a lot more work than I woulf want to put in to have the hero theme with a blue send button, but thanks anyways. I'm new to this root/hacking thing so I really have no experience with editing .apk's
