Using RSD to flash a JB image on a Droid X2

What would happen if I tried to flash a Jelly Bean image on my droid X2, using RSD lite? I've had to reflash the GB image many times after trying out different roms that seem to all have their own issues. Say I found a Droid Maxx Image and installed it on my Droid....Would it brick the phone or half a$$ work? and what about the 4G VS 3G? Just curious for now, but getting more curious as I think about it.

if it even installed it would not work at the least and completely brick your phone at the worst.

It isn't like a PC where you install Windows and the OS downloads specific device drivers or uses "generic" drives, ROMs are hard coded for specific devices and only for specific devices. You can't use Droid ROMs on a Droid 2, you can't even use Droid ROMs on a Milestone (Droid = CDMA, Milestone = GSM but otherwise the exact same device).

Likewise...you can't use anything except ROMs made for the Droid X2 on your Droid X2. dragonzkiller has a JB rom he's been working on for the Droid X2 which is the closest you'll get to JB on your X2.

And specifically 4G VS 3G......different radio hardware. Not available in any way for the Droid X2.

Since you seem knowledgable about this stuff, I do have a question for you. A few days ago I installed the CM9 (Beta 1) Rom along with the gapps files and the MX2 patch files. I have not been able to turn the wifi on since. I tried to reinstall the MX2 zip and something went wrong I had top flash back to GB 2.3.4, but I want to either reinstall the CM9 or maybe the CM10. What do you think might have been the cause of the wifi issue?

You have a Droid X2 (DX2) not a Milestone X2 (MX2). You shouldn't install ANY MX2.zip files, patches or whatnot. Different hardware.

From what I've read, the CM10 Dragonzkiller is working on is much more stable than the CM9 he had done. If you want to play, I'd go with his CM10. If you want full functionality, I'd go with his CM7 (Gingerbread).
