Maps problem???

This is a discussion on Maps problem??? within the Droid Hacks forums, part of the Droid Hacking category; I have seen that there is some kind of problems after you root your droid with the maps. I was wondering exactly what the problem ...

    Maps problem???

    I have seen that there is some kind of problems after you root your droid with the maps. I was wondering exactly what the problem is???

    I wouldn't say it is because of rooting....but more of certain ROMs that were causing problems with some people's Maps application...

    1. Update your Maps to 4.0 before installing the new rom

    2. Use the updater to fix any problems that occur after installation

    yeah thats why I kinda asked cause after I updated I didnt see anything wrong with my maps was hoping I didnt just miss anything.

    I have to say...the Maps app gets a nice overhaul once you root and go to BB....completely changed the look on mine!

    Its a lot faster on my phone too....very responsive with the multitouch
