Although I have not personally tried sholes, BB 7.5 is extremely stable provided you're not using every app at once all day long in the blistering sun. Its fast and easy to update. And purdy

Glad you got it though. You think the font in my thread is too small? If you need to you can hit CTL+MWheelUP and increase the size temporarily.

No with BB you need a computer.
First, I know nothing about sholes 2.0.3, but why couldn't he do the switch to BB7.5 from the Droid. Couldn't he just go to AllDroid - View topic - [ROM] Bugless Beast V0.7.5 (2/10/10) and download the update.zip or the nandroid restore file (and put it in the Nandroid folder) and then xboot into sprecovery and follow the directions on that same page relative the file he decided to use?

I suppose he could, actually. Will really take a much longer time though.

Didn't know about the CTL+mwheelup trick. Thanks. Too late now!

Think I should add that tip to my guide just in case?

Possibly. Not a bad idea. Because as you know, where you put the spaces makes all the difference.

Just read the instructions over and over to be sure you understand them. If you use the update.zip method, that's all I ever use, you should first use Astro File manager and rename your current update.zip file to something like update.old.zip before you download the new one. Also, on the update.zip instructions you can skip the line about deleting some files first (it will not apply to your situation). Do know your way around Sprecovery? If not be sure to read the instrucitons (in red) so you will know how to navigate around). Also, one last tip; 7.5 sometimes needs a few reboots to settle down. Not always, but occasionally. Good luck.
