sometimes they pickup then drop back down.
I can be downloading at like 10kb/sec and wireless tether will sometimes show as high as 1000kb/sec.
I installed a network monitor to make sure a background program wasn't running eating my bandwidth and nothing.
What would cause the huge discrepancy between the speed I am downloading and what wifi tether is showing?
Could this be Verizon throttling me for using tether/torrents?
Not speaking from experience or any actual facts, just repeating what I have heard in the past on crackberry.com...
Allegedly, Verizon can throttle you back if they suspect you are tethering and don't have it on your plan.
