WiFi and 3G On Prefer 3G, Setting

I have been looking around for something like this for a long time, but have never found it. I want to be able to set my droid to keep WiFi and 3G on, and prefer 3G if it is in range. The reason is that my works WiFi is congested with iPod Touches and iPhones and the network speed stinks, and where I sit, I can get a 3G signal, but as soon as I walk away, I get no signal.

Is there any way, hack or otherwise, to get a setting where it prefers 3G over WiFi?

I doubt it....3G coverage is solely based on the amount of service VZW provides in your area...

You're in the super minority I think.

Try using the power widget to switch your WiFi on and off on the home screen? Not automated like I think you wanted, but it gets basically the same job done.

EDIT: You want to keep WiFi on.... I think you're SOL unless you can code your own app. Sorry.
