cpu speed text log

are there any apps out there that will create a text log of the cpu speed everytime it changes, or something like that? i realize there woudln't be a huge need for this, but i am curious to see what exactly it is doing on sleep and such

This is a great question. I have wanted the same just so I could see what is going on when it is sleeping.. although like you said, there probably isn't much demand for this so it may not exist.
