    Camera Focus Lock Sound

    Is there a way to remove the sound that plays when you focus on the stock camera app? I'm not talking about the ticking from the actual lens focusing, I'm talking about the 2 really loud beeps that play when you focus the camera. I have removed the shutter sound and the video recording sound, but I can't seem to find this file anywhere... Can anyone provide some help?

    I think it might be the same sound that is played to confirm the level when changing the ringer volume.

    I think you're right, would like to get rid of that noise as well! I think it is built into the rom, can anyone confirm?

    Not exactly what you're looking for, but if your ringer is set to silent or vibrate, the camera won't make the noise.

    I can't find it anywhere, it's not in /system/media/audio like the camera shutter sound was.

    though it plays logcat doesn't show it calling any file

    i searched and played every single .ogg on the phone, none of them are it.

    it's definitely a ninja file, can't be seen.

    Well I found a solution that works well enough for me. I already use Profiles (free on the app store)

    I made my System Volume setting 0 when each profile is active, it stops the camera from making any noise, but keeps your other volume settings to whatever you choose. I think the System Volume stream is connected to the keyboard tap noise as well but I am not sure what other sounds it effects.

    There are a few of these type apps out there. Profiles seems to do the trick for me!
